My self-summary
So my name is Thor. Yes it's Thor. It is short for something, and bonus points if you guess it. I am an extremely passionate person. Music is not just noise to me. It's an auditory expression of the human soul. Film is not just something to watch and zone out to. It's a way to connect with stories and experiences and ideas from the other end of the world and beyond. I have been accused of being elistist, and I welcome it. It's my belief that a society becomes what it holds to a higher standard. What do we remember ancient rome for? It's conquest and its ambition. Ancient greece? Philosophy and architecture. What will we be remembered for? I love comedy and humor. Expression and conversation. I enjoy freedom and creativity. I'm never happier than when I am reading a book that I can't wait to read again, a movie that moves me to tears, playing a song on guitar that amazes myself at my own capabilities, drawing a picture that makes people smile. I am creative to the core. I live for art, freedom and expression.
What I’m doing with my life
Saving, and shaping it to be the exact life I want to live. It's a slow and arduous process, but without struggle there can be no progress.
I’m really good at
I like to think I'm a good listener. However past experiences have taught me that I'm extremely good at listening...if I find the subject interesting. It's something I'm working at.

I'm a pretty good sketch artist, I'm awesome at intelligent conversation, and thrive on opinions that agree and differ from my own. I've been teaching myself to play guitar for the past decade. I have no idea how good I am. And I'm a pretty good writer.

Non creatively, I'm pretty damn understanding and I don't lose my temper easily.
The first things people usually notice about me
Sense of humor, and eyes. I've been told recently that I have an attractive swagger. I'm not entirely sure what that means or entails, but I'll take it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Initially I had a long list of music here to show how broad and eclectic my music taste is *yawn*. Don't get me wrong, I effing love music, but I think it's a little tacky to list every band no one has ever heard of, just to prove a point. However I'll name a few. Tool, Deftones, Porcupine Tree, Alcest, Tori Amos, Pineapple Thief, and Radiohead.

I was reading The Unremembered till it got jacked from my car 1 week after I bought it. Now however I've turned to more thoughtful stuff. Biocentrism, Behold a Pale Horse, Culture Jam, 1984, Animal Farm, Earth:the Book(it's by jon stewart) Right now I'm reading BloodEye by Giles Christian.

Movies. The Princess Bride, Equilibrium, LOTR trilogy, The Salton Sea, Frailty, The Dark Knight, Rob Roy, Pirates of the Carribean, The Last Samurai, Hard Candy, The Four Feathers, Role Models, Wonder Boy.

I will try any food once. I eat a mostly vegetarian diet. I still gorge on the animal carcass every now and again, but I like how little meat I eat now.
Six things I could never do without
2.Hearing to listen to said music.
4.Sight to see said art.
6. My laptop.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future and how awesome it can be...
On a typical Friday night I am
I rarely go out on fridays, if I do it tends to be saturday. Usually I'm watching Breaking Bad or the Walking Dead, reading, or drawing or chilling with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a huge crush on Felix Cane. And Katie Sackhoff. And I cry a lot during movies. Not like for serious cry, but certain parts might get me a little choked up. Usually nothing more than a slight lip tremble escapes so, manliness secured!
You should message me if
you want to laugh and have stimulating or inspiring conversation. However, if you cant handle inappropriate humor or throwing witty remarks back and forth, we prob wont get along.

If you can quote lines from The Princess Bride. Or monty python complete with british accents. If you cried when Starbuck died. If music moves your soul.

Oh and if you can't conjure up a first message that's more than "Hi" "How are you?" Or "Good morning" kindly keep moving. It's nothing personal but if someone takes the time to write that much about themselves and thats all you can think to say then there's not gonna be much chemistry regardless of how hot you are. And besides ladies, you expect the same from us. Its only fair.
The two of us
