My self-summary
I’m a bit of a nerd. I love computers and other random, interesting and complicated things. Stick some moving puzzle in front of me and I’ll space out for hours. I’m weird and all shades of odd from time to time, although I’m usually reserved when I start talking to new people. I love my friends deeply, and love my best friend above all others. I’m loyal and always willing to take that crazy risk, even if I know the outcome may result in pain or hurt. I’m not afraid of life, but just going through it alone. I’ve landed an amazing job in my career field and have been so busy, I’m only seeking friendships. Please don’t be discouraged from messaging; I’m still looking to meet people and learn about them. Let’s get some coffee and have a chat :)

I love driving around aimlessly. I could either go with someone or all by myself – either is fine with me. I’d roll the windows down and never say a word. Then roll them back up so we can tell each other things most people are afraid to hear.

To me, life’s biggest adventure is understanding one’s own soul. With that being said, I’m open to discovering more about myself and sharing this crazy adventure with a great friend.

I mentioned it above, but I'd like to be clear... I'm only looking for friendship, not a relationship or to mess around with anyone.
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated college back in 2008 with an Associates Degree in Computer Science, all while working for a local electronics store to get more experience in the field. I was hired not too long ago as an all-around Help Desk associate for a programming company. At work, I take calls from both North and South American regions, taking care of issues with the program and equipment provided to our clients. This has been an amazing opportunity for me, especially since there is a lot of room in the company to grow and advance. I hope to be able to provide a great standard of living for my family and I someday. Outside of work, I am just enjoying my time with my close friends, and the hobbies I’ve kind of tinkered with along the way. Like I’ve mentioned before, I’m not really looking for a romantic relationship. Sometimes they do happen, though.
I’m really good at
I’m great at figuring out problems. I really love hearing people’s stories and helping out those who actually want the help. I try my best to give good feedback to those who ask for it. But besides that, I enjoy fixing things like computers or anything electronic.

I’m also pretty good at people watching. Sure, it sounds creepy but it’s more of a practice on my observation skills. I like sitting in random public areas trying to “figure out” a complete stranger’s life. “There girl over there looks fairly lonely. She only looks up once in a while, but keeps her gaze to the ground.”
The first things people usually notice about me
Hair, or eyes. Mainly eyes I think.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Let the Right One In, Quiet, Great Gatsby, Flowers for Algernon, Romance of the Three Kingdoms (the historical-fiction novel, not the cheesy romance book), The Faith Instinct: How Religion Evolved and Why It Endures.

Music: I like mellow music. Here are some of my favorite artists: Imogen Heap (also her old band Frou Frou), Sia, and Jasmine Rodgers. Some of the newer re-discoveries I’ve made and have taken a liking to are: Libbie Schrader, Kari Kimmel, Ingrid Michaelson, Rachel Yamagata, Zero 7, Dido, The Cranberries, Adele, Florence + The Machine, Regina Spektor, Emma Pollock, The Delgados, Alt-J, Levellers, The Xx, Of Monsters and Men, and The Lumineers.

Movies: Garden State is my all-time favorite. But besides that, I’ve also enjoyed: Serenity, A Dog’s Breakfast, and Let the Right One In, which is my current favorite. I do like the usual flicks that most enjoy (Matrix, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and so on and so forth). Kung fu movies? The cheesier, the better. I’ll take Drunken Boxing with the ORIGINAL DB than the last Jackie Chan one any day. Special (RX) is truly a brutal and stark take on the life of a Superhero. I highly recommend it.

Food: I’ll eat just about anything. Anything home-cooked will make me incredibly happy. Restaurants? Brewers, Carl Strauss, and Oggies. I love Italian food and spicy food too.

TV: Castle, Stargate SG-1/Atlanis, Andromeda, Mythbusters, Firefly, Dilbert, and mainly anime shows. Classics? Futurama, Family Guy, Jack of All Trades, American Pickers, Earth Final Conflict, Herculese, Xena, odl sci-fi shows and just about anything on the History Channel. Newer shows? Doctor Who, Breaking Bad, 30 Rock, and Game of Thrones.
Games: I used to play WoW, but didn’t get too INTO it (really!). I mainly played it out of boredom but found the lore more interesting. Currently loving Aion.
Six things I could never do without
My best friend. My computer. My Cell phone. And thats it, I can live life with the bare minimum.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. The things I really do like in my life. I’ll explain if you ever want to get to know me and if you’ve made it this far down my profile.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'll either be out with friends at a coffee house, a local pub, or at home cooking up something to go with a nice bottle of wine.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don’t consider too many things private. Talk to me and you can learn everything about me, given enough time and trust, that is.
You should message me if
You’re looking for a good friend. You know, someone to talk to about anything for any reason. If you’re feeling curious or bored, go ahead and private message me. We can chat.

I’m also up for meeting an activity buddy. Someone to meet up and hang out for a quick bite to eat or to grab coffee. Whatever it is you folks do with some random person.
