My self-summary
I'm pretty open minded. I'm an intense and habitual thinker. I love to have fun, have new experiences, and meet new people. Some times I'm shy, and others outgoing--I can be a great friend to those willing to respond in kind.

I am sometimes so paradoxical it's amazing such seemingly opposing qualities can exist in one person without defying some natural law...

I am spiritual, but not particularly religious. I do believe in karma, but not hell. I do try to follow the "golden rule." However, I study many forms of spirituality and religion.

Sometimes, I'll be right in the middle of a sentence, when I just...

What I’m doing with my life
I'm presently in the biggest transitional period of my life. I've evolved quite a lot in the last year, and it seems this will continue... I am a work in progress.

I make a daily effort to better myself, and become more of the person I'd like to be.

I aspire to be a published author. I write mostly fiction and poetry. Most of my fiction is speculative, i.e., horror a bit of sci-fi and some fantasy. I am serious about getting published.

I have training in the culinary arts, but I think I may want to go back to school; though I'm unsure exactly what I want to go for. At this point I'm leaning toward something in the field of psychology.

Other areas that interest me: writing, music production, and/or music composition, psychology, pharmacology. neuropharmacology, ethnobotany philosophy, anthropology, ancient history, archaeology, maybe (just maybe) even something like etymology, ancient language--translating and/or interpreting ancient writing..... among others. Lots of things ending in "ology", apparently.

In the meantime I write, I tinker around making noise and "music..." I read a lot... screw around online... study all kinds of things that interest me, work out,...I'm steadily becoming more of who I want to be, and less of who I don't. Any other questions?
I’m really good at
Writing. Understanding strange concepts. Observation. Analysis. Weird, long conversations (with the right person, when the stars align.) Listening. Adapting. Changing. Wondering. Sometimes cooking...haha. Amateur Pharmacology. Daydreaming. Playing with lighters. Oh, and sex. :-)
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm friendly, but often quiet unless spoken to first... so I don't think I'm "noticed" much.

If someone gets me into a conversation, they might "notice" that I'm fairly well-spoken and intelligent. (This is based on what people have mentioned in the past--not my massive ego. ha-ha)

I am the face you pass in the crowd. One of the most interesting people you could have met, but haven't...

[Note, this section does need a bit of updating, though everything here should be relevant. ]

Lately I seem to be big on ridiculous comedies (especially the kind of stoner movies that are big on dick and fart jokes) But I can also appreciate a more subtle humor. I'm secretly a fan of romantic comedies. I like well made crime drama (like gangster movies or heist movies) The occasional well-made horror movie or psychological thriller, or the increasingly more rare sci-fi movie that doesn't suck.

The Matrix trilogy (especially the first),
12 Monkeys,
The Crow.
What the Bleep do we Know!?
The films of Kevin Smith (especially the Jay and Silent Bob stuff)
The films of Quentin Tarantino. (They're all great, especially True Romance and Reservoir Dogs.)
Trey Parker and Matt Stone (BASEketball,
South Park).
Miss March
Young People Fucking
Get Him to The Greek
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
The Butterfly Effect.
Donnie Darko.
Fight Club.
Rules of Attraction
Office Space.
SLC Punk.
Sex Drive
Penn and Teller Get Killed
Blueberry / Renegade
sliding doors
Gangs of New York.
all kinds of documentaries
I could go on forever, but i won't.
Six things I could never do without
1- love, in all forms
2- great music
3- great books
4- great movies
5- A CAR!

Oh wait, that's only 5. Maybe I'm just easy to please....

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life. The universe. (and everything :-p ) Personal morals. Love. Human interaction. Psychology. Spirituality. Religion. Writing. Motives. Sex...
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I think far too deeply sometimes and tend to over-analyze. I sometimes wear my heart on my sleeve, though I'm very slow to trust anyone completely.
You should message me if
If You've read this far.

I'm pretty open to meeting new people. I'm mainly looking for friends at this point. I want good conversation, be it fun or intellectual. If you're local, and you might want to hang out, that's a big bonus.

I do reply somewhat selectively, but if you're intelligent and/or have something interesting to say, and/or had something interesting to say in your profile, you're way ahead of the game. Try me.

I may appear as "available" due to some of my "looking for" settings (which I will explain), however, I am currently romantically unavailable. I think I've finally met My Soulmate (click here) and I'm content, in that department....hence my "romantic unavailability."

We are, however, exploring the idea of an "open" relationship. I do have certain... "polyamorous" tendencies, I'm not yet sure how that will work out... "casual sex" with an outside partner may be an option at some point, if the situation is right, though we haven't gotten there yet....

Filthy carnal three-ways may not be out of the question, either. ;) lol

Since I am genuinely looking for "friends" and that's ACTUALLY not code for "I'm trying not to sound like a perv to the girls I'm trying to nail," guys are welcome to message me. Don't take that the wrong way, either. heh.

All that being said, I'm not really looking for anything serious. I do, however, welcome the ridiculous, and the fun and laid back. If you want to know more about what that means, feel free to ask.

Or Forget everything I just said, just write me, and figure out for yourself if I suck or not.
