"I'm that goofy guy who's always waxing lyrical and spinning things toward a big laugh, but you'd never know it with the number of opportunities I get to meet new people. I'm always thinking, reasoning, or explaining something (often while multitasking with other things), and sometimes it can be a bit hard to follow. Sometimes that's part of the fun, though. I like awesome surprises, especially ones with a story behind them, and I have a few of my own in the works that I can't wait to show off."
Cupiddex Entry No. ###+1
Name: Confident Travis
Classification: The Jack of All Trades
Acquired By: evolution (friendship level).
Status: The only known specimen is currently in captivity.
After spending the majority of their life on mental, philosophical, and career pursuits, the specimen is currently trying to catch up with their peers socially now that they have achieved a stable habitat. This is difficult at times due to recent relocation and difficulty meeting new people, but the specimen will likely keep going until their goals are met.
Outside of a symbiotic relationship or a pack, the specimen will typically stay near its den when not foraging for food or other resources. However, they have been observed going out on a regular basis for both social stimulation and a brief migration according to lunar cycles. More data is needed to explain this behavior.
Contest Types: Cute, Smart
First and foremost, this specimen is a thinker. They will try to solve any and all difficulties through strategy, shifting their position or perspective, or simply by reasoning it out by going through the issue step by step. Loops in logic can lead to overthinking which will leave them temporarily unable to act until acted on by an outside force. Typically this is shown through playing games.
Very peaceful by nature, this specimen has a unique gift for calming and cheering others in order to spread its comfort zone.
This specimen will often go out of its way to help resolve issues or problems for those that it deems friendly.
Though shy when encountered in the wild, the specimen can be calmed and coaxed with music.
Due to a strange disorder, the specimen seems to have some natural difficulty interacting with others to the point where it is initially difficult for them to match conversational rhythm and pick up non-verbal cues. However, this is easily overcome with time, effort, and patience.
Seemingly a balance for this negative trait, the specimen is able to quickly grasp new concepts and will frequently take to new ideas and skills.
I don't really have any particular preference in music or movies, but I tend to like stuff that I can sing to and movies that don't make me regret seeing them twice.
My favorite kind of food is pasta because it is. Second to pizza, cheeseburgers, fruit, and PB&J (twice voted the healthiest sandwich in the first world). I also like to cook now, but I'm still learning on my own.
games (they keep me out of trouble)
food (and cookbooks (for now))
problems to solve
Somebody to Love (by Queen)
people to talk to (I guess I can do without them, but it sucks and I'm tired of it)
That, or hanging out with a friend, working on schoolwork, gaming, or coding one of my side projects. Or looking for something else to do. Variety and all that.
Even though I'm tall enough to be noticed in crowds, inside I still feel like I'm that little kid from gym class sometimes...
I sometimes have moments of extreme clarity where ideas just come to me and I sometimes write them down in a sort of journal.
I seem to have more difficulty meeting people and making new friends and that makes me feel rather self conscious and depressed sometimes.
