My self-summary
Live/Work in San Francisco, grew up in the Bay Area, born abroad.

Always looking to make people laugh but my sense of humor is probably not PG (or even PG-13) most of the time.

My ideal date involves great conversation. I'm happy to talk about basically anything that someone is passionate about. I love asking questions, learning, and sharing. A great conversation is an excellent way to learn about people and whether you might be compatible.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working on my Great American Novel, which is really just a 3-ring binder full of printed out livejournal entries from college.
I’m really good at
Making (some) other people laugh. If you can appreciate a dark sense of humor, we'll probably get along.

Sending incredibly lame messages and hoping I'm cute and/or interesting enough to get a response in spite of it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Currently reading Shantaram (very slowly)

In the Mood for Love, Mulholland Drive (probably my favorite), There Will Be Blood, Blue Valentine, Drive, anything with Ryan Gosling or Amy Adams.

Radiohead, Daft Punk, Crystal Castles, Gesaffelstein, Arcade Fire, Final Fantasy soundtracks.

Bojack Horseman on Netflix is a modern day masterpiece.

Favorite restaurants in SF include Kin Khao, State Bird (I have been known to ditch work early on a Friday to stand in line), Mission Chinese, Californios, Liho Liho, Rove Kitchen and Souvla
Six things I could never do without
Art (in all its varieties)
Intimacy (physical and emotional, 2 for 1!)
Good Food
der Wille zur Macht
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, Death, the nature of consciousness

What makes a great movie, story, song, or restaurant/meal great

Who's available to go with me on my next international outing. Schedules are hard. Fun-employed? Front of the line!

How to become a spy (probably should prepare by learning a bunch of languages... German? Spanish? Dothraki?)
On a typical Friday night I am
The spectrum:

1. sleeping early so I can go hiking on Saturday.

2. Going to public works or some other show and trying to stay awake long enough for the headliner to come out.

In between there are various bar shenanigans, netflix nights and movie/restaurant outings.

It's the spectrum of millennial activities!

If you're a militant anti-cuddler or deep down you a have the soul of a Disney villain then we PROBABLY won't be a good match but who knows, right? I believe that opposites can attract and that chemistry is sometimes mysterious and ephemeral.

If you felt compelled to! I will reply assuming your profile or the message tells me a little about you :)
