My self-summary
The pleasure associated with wholesome human connectivity is the greatest one in my world. It motivates me in my life as a teacher and in my life as a theatre artist. It's the reason that I value making people laugh, mutual vulnerability, and helping. It's also the reason I love love so much.
What I’m doing with my life
Teaching traditional Jewish text skills, mindfulness, kaballah, and a little bit of acting to teenagers.

Committing a lot of it to the theatre company with which I work

Mastering the art of the big spoon
I’m really good at
Feigning humility? But seriously...I am really good at my job. I love my students and I take good care of them if I say so myself. :-)
The first things people usually notice about me
If I can get away with hugging a person when I first meet them (which I often do) they'll notice that I give really nurturing hugs.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm reading The Fault In our Stars currently. Fell asleep in tears last night. Hopefully, I'll be non-avoidant enough to finish and move on to something else soon.

My favorite TV show is How I Met Your Mother. I kind of am Ted Circa season 8. That's not flattering, I know, but the future is bright.

Vegan food that my roommate or I have cooked always feeds body and soul

My pandora tastes are ever shifting. At the moment I'm listening to my Spin Doctors station.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- People, both fictional and non-fictional
- The Enneagram
- Religion (I think the God idea has worked for so many people for so many years and I'm most interested in how it works for various people)
- Mindfulness
- Whatever I'm working on artistically at the moment
- Politics
On a typical Friday night I am
Hosting warm, collaboratively creative Shabbat meals and havdalahs or Theatre-ing, which is also holy to me.
You should message me if
I'm not a big should-er. Message...don't message...if we're supposed to meet we will. I'm not sweating it. I don't think you "should" either.
