My self-summary
It's impossible for me to sum myself up in a neat, little paragraph, but I'm funny guy with a dry/sarcastic sense of humor. I have a job that has weird hours sometimes and can be hectic, but I love it.

I also practice and teach yoga, which I also love. If you'd asked me when I started doing yoga if I ever thought I'd be a teacher, I would have laughed and said, "No way!" Funny how that worked out...

I like to read, and I'd like to write a novel someday.

I don't watch much TV these days, and since I usually work nights, my DVR is packed with a back log of stuff.

There's still lots of things I want to do (like get some stamps in my passport), but generally I'm pretty happy with my life right now.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working as a TV news writer & producer.
I just became a certified Iyengar yoga teacher at the end of September, and I'm teaching a class in Brooklyn
Learning Spanish is on my list of to-do's and I regularly listen to lessons on the train.
I occasionally work as an extra in TV & movies to earn some extra cash; definitely have met some interesting people along the way.
I’m really good at
Baking, although I'm not doing too much of it these days. Baking for one is tough, if for no other reason than I end up eating way too much of what I make.
I'd like to think I'm pretty good at karaoke, but that's just because I'm not tone deaf and have to problem getting up and having a good time with a song.
There was a time when I would have said video games, but I don't play nearly as much as I used to. I'm working on the South Park RPG.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm told I have a great smile. People also notice my sense of humor. I'm pretty quick-witted, so I can make people laugh easily
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I loved the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy series. Generally, I like mysteries and sci-fi.

When I was little, my brother and I would watch "Back To The Future," then rewind the tape and watch it again. Some other favorites are "Clue," "The Usual Suspects," and "Inception."

As I said above, there's lots of stuff sitting on my DVR right now, but I like "Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.," "Continuum," "Brooklyn 99," "Archer," "Once Upon A Time," "How I Met Your Mother," "South Park," "Covert Affairs," "White Collar," and "Anger Management."

My taste in music is pretty random. Most of what's in my iTunes is classic rock, 80's, 90's, and showtunes. And no, I'm not embarassed to admit that I like showtunes. Oh, and I sing cheesy songs in the shower...

Concenring food, I'm willing to try just about anything. I'm not sure I could host "Bizarre Foods," but I keep an open mind. I've never met a piece of pizza I didn't like, and I really enjoy sushi. I've recently gotten back into drinking coffee... nothing fancy, but I wouldn't turn down an espresso
Six things I could never do without
I'm having a tough time with this one... I'm not sure if I can think of six. I couldn't do without my family and friends, but I don't know what esle to put... There's lots of things I use everyday, but I'm not really sure if there's anything I couldn't do without. Internet access is nice, but there are days when I ignore my emails....
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lots of random things. Like why does extraordinary mean "special" and not "really, really ordinary?"
On a typical Friday night I am
Working. My schedule is constantly shifting, but I'm usually working on Friday nights. Thankfully, I get out early enough that I can still meet up with friends or something before the night is over.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm afraid of heights. I don't get paralyzed with fear, but being up high makes me nervous.
You should message me if
..you're looking to meet someone new, have a good sense of humor, and aren't afraid to laugh at yourself.
