My self-summary
I am an independent woman in quest of a great companion who is ready to explore new roads and share an optimistic, honest and caring relationship.

Music is my passion.
I am drawn to Classical music but can also get lost in Jazz, world music, Salsa, Oldies Rock and am completely open to an introduction to your favorites. Rap and country are not on my radar.

I'm an avid gardener and grow my own fruits and vegetables for the pleasure of watching nature at her best and for the sheer palatal satisfaction.

Looking for a partner who delights in attending Performing Arts events......... Art Festivals, Symphony, Museums, Ballet, Opera, Theatre, outdoor concerts.
Someone who marvels at nature and enjoys being an integral part of it.
I am rather free-spirited and can welcome spontaneity and the exploration of learning new things with you.

A good match for me is a gentleman who is aware and attentive. He is affectionate and very open to giving and receiving and hopefully will possess many other attributes of an honorable human being. He respects his body and the environment and treats both of them well.

I would love to do more traveling but am partial to having the added benefit of sharing the experience with an enthusiastic partner.
What I’m doing with my life
Striving to live each day with presence-- being more attuned to the universe and the people around me. Feeding my mind and body healthfully in order to insure a high quality of life as I grow older. Also trying to do my small part to sustain the integrity of this planet.
Practicing to accept and find joy in what is.
I’m really good at
having a sense of humor.
Being open and honest to a fault.
Enjoying the moment.
The first things people usually notice about me
Perhaps my friendly, honest and more youthful nature
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: 'The Power of Now' Eckhart Tolle. 'Eat to Live' Joel Furhman. 'The Fountainhead' , by Ayn Rand, 'Sex at Dawn' Books on Gardening, Biographies, Art, Spiritual exploration.
Food: Keep it healthy and fresh. OK---with the exception of Chocolate. Who lives without chocolate?
The six things I could never do without
human touch
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why people aren't able to take care of each other better----extending a welcoming hand and nurturing attitude and pushing past all of the pointless obstacles.

The incredible workings of the brain and it's miraculous ability to heal, regroup and rebuild where ever there is a deficit.

Why there are so many seemingly great guys at dating sites who don't have the common courtesy to acknowledge emails and don't have a clue what they're missing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Nothing is ever typical. I leave my options open and try to be spontaneous.
Music, family, friends, exercise, fine dining, theatre, strolling around the neighborhood, putzing in my garden.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
You should message me if
You find anything in my profile that attracts you but are hesitant to write. I will always respond.
NOTE: I am not a paying member at this site so I won't be able to see who you are if you send me a 'LIKED'
