My self-summary
First, and honestly foremost: I am a computer geek, as tools go it is my favorite.

I'm easily found on the internet if you want to search. My name is Jonathan Steinert.

I'm an honest, utilitarian sort of guy. I like taking things apart and putting things together. I make puns (often bad) and quote movies. I love good food and company with it.

Most times I'm wearing jeans and a T-shirt, but I own a utilikilt and a dress suit as well.

I make puns, sometimes really cheesy puns. Sometimes they're pretty good though and I like hearing people laugh or see them smile.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm happily employed by an internet media company and spend my days working on software and hardware to keep things moving.

I work on my house some of the time, fixing and improving it. I also spend a good portion of time working on computers for the fun of it.
I’m really good at
Putting things together after I've taken them apart. Mechanical and electrical things are amazingly fun for me, and I am bound to figure them out.

Driving. I pride myself on my safety record despite a little speeding and sometimes going through narrow gaps.

Sleeping, though I often am reluctant to let the day end.
The first things people usually notice about me
Possibly my curly hair or me smiling.

I'm not really sure what people see first about me in general. Situations demand different things, and I adapt to fit as I want.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Steel Beach and other John Varley stories. Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, Anne Mccaffrey

Movies: Fifth Element, Inception, Coraline, Young Frankenstein, Star Trek (old and new), most Pixar films, and the early animated disney films.

Shows: Archer, Venture Brothers. Binge watching of Dr Who and Top Gear. Previously Good Eats, Stargate, Star Trek. Chelsea Lately is a funny show with good guest comedians too.

Music: Electronica of some kinds, keeps me moving. Classical is nice too. I'm usually not a fan of pop music with a few exceptions. I rather like Lady Gaga for some reason too.

Food: My favorite social time is over meals. I like good food, and love great food. I'll eat almost anything, but my top choice is French and its influences. I also have a taste for most curries.
Six things I could never do without
I will walk away from and leave things behind in many situations, but if these disappeared from my life I would be lost for a bit.

- Friends, without which life is boring.
- Computers and electronics to play with.
- Breakfast cereals for snacks.
- Books, no matter the medium.
- Serial comics, including web comics.
- Tools, I must be able to work on things.

Cliche and other possible answers:

- My eyes
- The Internet
- Good food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Recently, the things that set me apart. Both the good and bad.

Until recently I would spend almost all of my time thinking about logical and technical work. The way I might build, fix, or change things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either out with some friends eating a good meal, or on my computer being introverted.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I never felt a drive to meet others for romance or sex until recently. Even now I'm unsure how strong this desire is.
You should message me if
... you'd rather watch a movie set in space than a movie set on earth

... you watch cartoons & anime more than reality TV

... you like going to the comic book store, though I have yet to drag myself to one this year.

... you would show me the world of cosplay, and laugh if I become addicted.
