My self-summary
Mamma was a witch doctor. Daddy was a metallurge.

I'd like to go live on a mountain, or maybe a nice forest someplace, to forget my SS# and live off the land.

Except I like girls too much, so I stay enrolled in society.

Plus, my education didn't include all that awesome survival stuff. So I'd probably wind up bootlegging; selling home-brewed mead on the side of the county road.

Was born in Alaska, I grew up in Tulsa, went off to school in a couple places and came back to Oklahoma. I've moved to Bartlesville for a job.
It's decent for now, but the job is too limited to spend my life on. And B-ville is just another one of those small towns. I'd seriously have gone insane if not for a few good friends.

Basically, I've been around far enough to get some perspective, but I still want more.

For fun; I do a lot of stuff with the SCA. ( There is a picture of me in armor, sharing a private word with my brother-in-arms. I'm looking for a woman who can not just tolerate, but join in the pursuit of the Lordly lifestyle.

I'm nerdy and bookish, but still a fiend for a party. Its hard to find people who can do both...
What I’m doing with my life
I build and test gas chromatographs. It's a regular, good paying job. Watch as I try to avoid falling into a life of quiet desperation!

I'm exploring ways to retire early and be a professional nerd.

The first things people usually notice about me
Manner of speaking, distinctive pallor.

If you were casting a Shakespeare play, you'd do well to pick me for the clown or the villain.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
What will the world be like in 20 years?
Space? Facebook replaces government? post-apocalyptic warfare? Dehumanized technocracy?

And what is the deal with people who reply to messages but never look at my profile?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I totally dig Enya.
You should message me if
I've been dating someone I me on this site for a while now (Occasionally, you can meet good people online!)

But I always need new friends and people to share with.
I also know a circle of decent nerdy people, the type you wouldn't mind being seen in public with. If you want to meet them.
