My self-summary
Hey folks! I'm a fun Christian guy that loves God and my family very much. I signed up a LONG time ago at the behest of my friends who wanted me to take some of the quizzes. However, I've recently taken the time to update my profile. So, where to begin? I tend to get along well with people, and I hang out with friends fairly often. I'm more of a 'hang out with friends and play a board game' kind of guy than one you'll find in a bar. I'm usually found outside doing something active. Things like ultimate frisbee, basketball, biking, and I'm also into weightlifting. On cold, rainy days, I can be found inside enjoying one of my books, or communing with my inner muse, pen in hand, writing music or stories. For those who want to know, my authoring tendencies are toward the genres of fantasy and sci-fi, but I have been known to write other things.
I also enjoy my computer, and have been learning about linux recently, although I'm hardly a tech genius. I prefer linux because I like the philosophy behind it all. By the way, I'd like to mention, that I rarely get on my computer, so if my replies come a bit slower than you'd like, that's why. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience. Hmmm... what else? (I include the written musing because that is an apt description of how I do things.) I used to be really into videogames, but I don't consider myself a gamer anymore. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy games, especially with friends (I play Guitar Hero with my bros.), but I'm not going to game with you all day, every day.
Well, I suppose this isn't the most succinct summary in the world, is it? Nevertheless, it'll do.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently working for an insurance firm, processing claims for various disasters so homeowners can get the help they need. It's a desk job, which is not my cup of tea, but it pays the bills. Also looking into going back to school for an English Bachelor's and perhaps a double-major in CIS.
I’m really good at
Tae Kwon Do, frisbee, drawing, music, driving, biking, basketball, making friends, moving furniture (inside joke), writing, and thinking up things to do. I'm okay at Sign Language, French, a number of instruments, and other things too. It works out well that I enjoy these very activities;)
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes; they are blue-gray. Some people say I'm tall, and others note that I'm very friendly... Y'know, I've never really posed the question "what did you first notice about me," but I think it's the eyes, because that's the first thing people seem to notice when I walk in.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A)The Lord of the Rings trilogy, any of C.S. Lewis' works, Joseph Bentz's work, Robert Buettner, and a number of other authors.

B)The Lord of the Rings, The Princess Bride, and any Jackie Chan movie.

C)Skillet!!!!! I used to be a HUGE fan of The Benjamin Gate, but they broke up. Also really like Jars of Clay, 12 Stones, and Thousand Foot Krutch.

D)Peanut Butter, Pizza, and Roast Beef Subs.
Six things I could never do without
God, my soul, my family, my friends, the ability to create and express myself, and fresh air, in that order.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Who I am now, and who I want to be. Things I could have done differently in the past, and how that might have played out. What God makes of this mess of a world that we've twisted His world into, and what He is like. Story ideas, game ideas, melodies, and various other inventions that randomly pop into my head. Suffice to say, I think a LOT about everything.
On a typical Friday night I am
At work. I used to sleep, but my schedule's changed, so now I work. Yeah...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm divorced. Not something I'm proud of, but there it is. It was a while ago now, and I've definitely moved on, but that's the skeleton in my closet.
You should message me if
You want to talk. I'm always ready to make a new friend. Dating?... Well, perhaps after we know each other a little better, but right now that's not where my focus lies. Hanging out and doing things together? Sounds like fun.
