My self-summary
hate talking about myself, but here goes. baggage/drama free, sane, independent, happy, well-adjusted woman who has a full life; career, awesome family/friends...just missing partner in crime. have spent the last 43 years cultivating the person i am today. i am proud to be me, and have very few regrets.
also.....i'm human. not perfect. don't expect you to be, either. but i'm always open and honest, and expect the same in return.
What I’m doing with my life
working, living, laughing, always learning and evolving.
I’m really good at
tying a cherry stem w/my tongue. seriously: talking, listening, observing, being very chill. also, my intuition is intimidating, even to me. i used to ignore it, but not anymore.
The first things people usually notice about me
eyes
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
books:anything by hemingway, coelho, rand. movies: horror/comedy. music: everything but country/opera. food: everything but chinese and german.
The six things I could never do without
only 2- air and wine.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how the hell i ended up on this site.
On a typical Friday night I am
out w/friends, home watching movies, or sleeping/dreaming.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
if i admit it, it's no longer private..... ?
You should message me if
you're drama-free, local (ie: LI), not looking for an easy hook-up. you have no face/neck tattoos. you love animals, the beach, going to concerts, travelling, wine, are open-minded. you are serious and ready for a real relationship. no games/diseases/drugs/confused transgenders. ultimately, looking for an attractive, gainfully employed, HONEST, intelligent, funny, quietly confident man who knows what he wants, and is emotionally available. most important, i know who i am. please know who you are.
edit: if you have kids, i fully expect you to put them first and foremost. if you're so inclined to put a potential relationship before your kids, that is a huge turn-off. be a good dad.
2nd edit: i'm a bit of an ageist. if you're younger than 40 or older than 45, pls don't take offense if i don't respond. i really want to date someone close to my age. Why? On one hand, desire someone who is able to keep up w/me. On the other, someone who not only understands that i'm not a mrs. robinson, but where the reference actually comes from. ;)
