My self-summary
I'm a burner, poly, gamer, nerd liberal.
I believe in standing up for what you believe and defending your principles. However I'm willing to change my opinions when new information is presented.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm living the dream, no...really.

I come from a long line of government workers and I have happily joined their ranks. I also happen to believe that government can be a solution. My job can be quite stressful but it also allows me the opportunity to directly help people who need serious help, it also gives me incredible stories to tell.
I’m really good at
Cooking, I've become rather good in the kitchen in the last few years without becoming a full on foodie.
Board games, or other activities that are mentally stimulating.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't usually ask people, but in the times this information's been offered to me I've gotten, my eyes and my personality...as in someone's overheard me talking and it piqued their interest
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A) Kuhn- The Structure of Scientific Revolutions - not something to base your life on, but good for a serious mind fuck.

Robbins - Still Life with Woodpecker

Rollins - Black Coffee Blues

Franken - Lies and the Lying Liars that Tell Them

Hugo - Les Miserables

Martin - A Song of Ice and Fire

B) Star Wars - Yeah, all SIX of them

Sin City

Heathers

Fight Club

Basquiat

C) The Cure; Social Distortion;Jawbreaker; They Might Be Giants; Tom Waits; Concrete Blonde; Shrug

D) I'm actually into quite a lot. This comes from having been a waiter/bartender for so long. I used to put that I wouldn't eat mushrooms or fish of any sort, but even these lifelong held distates are subject to change. Okay I still won't eat mushrooms. I tried and tried but they just aren't a thing I like.

E) Television: The Wire, Game Of Thrones, John Oliver currently.
I've been enjoying the television renaissance of the last decade.
I've been a Doctor Who fan since I was 10.
The six things I could never do without
My computer and an internet connection, Awesome people to interact with in the flesh, Caffeine, Mental Stimulation, an Unlimited Text Message Plan

Six is up for grabs, I've lived without many other things for long periods in my life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to bring about the liberal socialist utopia I want.
How to make the world more sex positive.
My own prejudices, privilege, and myopia. How have these changed over my life?
Am I being the person I should be, am I living up to what I expect of others?
On a typical Friday night I am
It really depends on the Friday. I've been quite active as of late.
Recently I've found a love for Karaoke. I'm still learning what songs I can sing well in my vocal range. So far my best performances are Angry Inch from Hedwig, Sweet Transvestite from Rocky Horror and Fred Schneider's part from Love Shack.

I learned a long time ago, it's not so much what you are doing, but more who you are doing it with.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have 7 tattoos

I'm also slightly dyslexic...so I might misspell some things. I really do live by my spell-checker
You should message me if
You have a story to tell or you'd like to hear a good story...or if you just think I'm in any way interesting.

You should also be at least accepting of Polyamory. I am polyamorous, have been in open, ethical relationships for the past six years, and while I am currently single am seeking to return to that state.

You're okay with Atheists. I am one, I'm not apologetic about this.
