When chatting with someone, I'll over use "lol" for the sake of the person reading in the attempt to show that my dry serious tone is actually a joke that is not to be taken seriously. it makes me look like one of those texting douches that I don't want to be and apologize now if I sent you a message with one or two in there.
I love to watch movies, and if I find a TV series I like, I'll buy the whole season. I get inspired from visual media, whether from YouTube, or TV.
I use to design and weld what people would call artsy looking pieces, but because of the expense of metal working equipment, I now focus mainly on projects made of wood. I've been working with the stuff my while life, ever since I was a kid, and I have the scars on my hands to prove it.(insert lol here) which is why I'm probably more comfortable buying myself a $20 carving set, versus a 200-300 dollar welder.
During the days I do have off, it's a caffeine fueled hodgepodge of either thrifting, drawing, building, or listening to the radio in my shop when I should be building.
As I mentioned, I work with wood. Now for my nerdy like moment: 70-80% of my projects, are some sort of fantasy weapon that I've either designed myself or copied from another source. (See, nerdy)
You don't have to like it to chat with me, I just wanted to put it out there. I make them for the fine detail carving experience. Half the time I give away ones that I make, whether finished or not.
I guess I'm your typical Seattlite. Minus the weed smoking, hiking, yoga, or camping. Though I do like exploring which is like hiking I guess, there just may not be trees sometimes.
my favorite movies: Oscar, the Boondock Saints, the Count of Monte Cristo, National Treasure, Willow, the Saint, the Hunted, the Expendables, Down Periscope, the Life Aquatic, Hot Fuzz, i Robot... I have probably close to 300 movies, I am a movie junkie. My motto is, "whom ever has the most at the end, wins", lol. I enjoy mostly all the genres out there.
TV shows: NCIS, Bones, Castle, Psych, Farscape, Firefly, Eureka, The Big Bang Theory, Hawaii 5-0, Person of Interest, Elementary, ect...
music I really listen to anything that sounds good to me, but mostly I'll listen to "The Men's Room" on 99.9 kisw.
Materials for building things
Food... although coffee may be able to substitute that, hmm.
And why not beer, may as well enjoy my 6 things I have (insert "lol" here).
How much money can I make with my hobbies >:} muh hahaha
My mind thinks simple.
I work on the weekends, blah I know.
And I don't like water I can't see the bottom of, but I love the smell of the sea. It's a conundrum.
You like aimlessly wandering around exploring the city.
You like hanging out. Whether at a bar, coffee shop, in a park, restaurant.
You like thrift shopping, without the promise of finding anything good.
You like sci-fi stuff, cause theirs always room for random fantasy stuff, gotta keep the child inside alive.
Or if you're just curious, and want to chat.
