My self-summary
I would have to say that music is a driving force in my life, which is the only reason I moved to this city a few years ago. I enjoy laughing at the absurdity of the world and people in it. I'm much more of a cynic than optimist and it seems to only get worse with each passing year. I'm much more pessimistic since the election (I did vote so I can bitch loudly about it). I was really hoping that the people of America could see through the piles upon piles of bullshit that this administration has built itself upon. Let down again by the uneducated masses. I guess I should be used to it by now.

I am musical, geeky, and sardonic
What I’m doing with my life
I've been working on my career. Also being cynical.
I’m really good at
Finding the humor in everyday life, like laughing at the people on the freeway who are yelling at other cars with all their windows up while pounding their steering wheel. Nothing is funnier. And don't give me that line about road rage being a disease that you can't contain. Two words, LEAVE EARLIER. There is absolutely nothing you can do about traffic. Get used to it or get another job where you don't have to drive during rush hour. Or better yet, learn to control your temper. Go out and exercise to work off that extra aggression instead of sitting behind your TV zombified.
The first things people usually notice about me
My long hair and t-shirts. I have quite an eclectic collection.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I've been reading Killing Bono and am in the middle of Fingerprints Of The Gods and Lies and The Lying Liers That Tell Them. Any book by Noam Chompsky is good. The new Elliott Smith record, Head Automatica, Low Millions, anything by The Flaming Lips, Ray LaMontagne Ryan Adams, The Pixies, Drag, Jello Biafra and Bill Hicks spoken word albums rock The Weather Underground. Elf was quite funny, Team America, Dawn Of The Dead, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Napoleon Dynamite, True Romance, Employee Of The Month...........
Six things I could never do without
Music one of the only reasons to live. Books and Movies, they provide a great escape. My Friends even though I don't see them often. Flannel Sheets on my bed, because there is nothing like waking up in the warm womb they create when I actually sleep. And finally, love whether physical or emotional. It always invigorates me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
People who have stickers on their car that read "Jesus Is Lord, Read The Bible". Wow, what a persuasive argument you've come up with. I'm glad you did so much research to come up with that statement. What about the Koran, Torah, The Pali Canon. I guess those don't count, even if they were written before the "Holy Bible". Let's not forget that Jesus wasn't white. Europe made him white when they adopted Christianity. Creationist, you guys are smart. We took all the people mentioned in the bible starting with Adam & Eve and added them up. That makes the earth roughly six thousand years old. What a scientific study. I'm looking forward to more of this thought as America sets itself back a couple hundred years by electing a president that basis his decision making upon his religion rather than scientific thought and reasoning. While there's nothing wrong with making decisions with your personal religion in mind, a public office that is supposed to be seperate from religion is no place to do so. Maybe I should stop thinking about these things...
On a typical Friday night I am
Working. It seems as though I work most weekends. A weekend to me is whenever I have two or more days off in a row.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't like having my picture taken most of the time. I'm more comfortable taking the pictures.
You should message me if
You are interesting, intelligent, and enjoy art in many different forms.
