Their result for Is that a Terrorist or Conservative speaking? A quiz. ...

40% correct!

You scored 40% correct. And if you didn't score 100%... well, that kind of tells you something right there huh.

Here are the answers:

1."[Some Americans] are not only traitors, they are gutless traitors."

Too easy. That was Ann Coulter, 2005.

2."[Some Americans] celebrate privately this attack in Spain."

That was Rush Limbaugh in 2004.

3."Acquiring weapons for the defense of [a religious group] is a religious duty."

Interview in Time magazine of... Osama bin Laden, 1998.

4."Blessed be the armed [religious group]."

Same sentiment as #3, this was an article on the Boise Guardian website named "Blessed Be The Armed Christians" from December of last year. The first reply on the page goes like this...

Guess you don’t remember that preacher at Pearl Harbor who said..."praise the Lord and pass the ammunition." Sometimes evil has to be stopped by the tip of a bayonet.

EDITOR NOTE–Spoken like a true patriot! There are no athiests in fox holes under fire either.

5."We do not have to differentiate between military or civilian. As far as we are concerned, they are all targets."

ABC reporter John Miller is asking the questions to Bin Laden (again).

6."There is no dialogue except with weapons."

Another occasion where bin Laden sounds like a neocon chickenhawk, from an audiotape aired on Al-Jazeera (18 October 2003).

7."Kill their leaders and convert them to [the religion]."

Anyone not getting Ann Coulter for this shouldn't be too ashamed. After all, it's what she'd also accuse the terrorists of trying to do anyway: convert people from one religion to another. She said this two days after 9/11.

8."Your security is not in the hands of Kerry or Bush or al Qaeda. Your security is in your own hands."

So remember your 2nd Amendment rights. Says Osama bin Laden, in 2004's election season. Wait... what?

9."[People of our religion] must arm themselves, build up food supplies to last five years, hide in wilderness fortresses, and kill [attackers]."

These words of how to live in a cave come from John Todd, who was considered to be nutty even by conservative religious standards. Todd was hosting dozens of young people at a weekly Santa Ana Bible study until the fellowship disbanded after Todd was charged for seducing some of the girls. He died in November of 2007.

10."Women have no capacity to understand [aspects of finance]."

This one made me laugh. Because it was Ann Coulter that said it. The full quote is...

"I think [women] should be armed but should not [be allowed to] vote. No, they all have to give up their vote, not just, you know, the lady clapping and me. The problem with women voting -- and your Communists will back me up on this -- is that, you know, women have no capacity to understand how money is earned. They have a lot of ideas on how to spend it. And when they take these polls, it's always more money on education, more money on child care, more money on day care."

Politically Incorrect, Feb. 26, 2001

...which means she thinks she shouldn't have a say. Especially in education and child care and day care...!
