Chaotic Neutral or Chaotic Evil

"Sick boy sick boy goin' wrong, maybe gonna lose his grip ... baby wanna take you out with me, come along on my death trip"

-- THE STOOGES, Death Trip

With regards to Law and Chaos, you are Chaotic

With regards to Good and Evil, you are Neutral or maybe Evil

Your scored a combination of TWO alignments, Chaotic Neutral and Chaotic Evil. You should go to the bottom of this page and click on both of these alignments for more details, because you are partially one and partially the other.

To give you a general idea, people of this alignment combination are primarily chaotic and secondarily evil. They are self-driven and egocentric, and refuse to let others define them or limit their actions. Wayward and unpredictable, they do whatever they want, with little or no concern for the rules. Society's laws do not matter because society does not really "exist." There are only individuals, and the weak band together while the strong stand alone. Those that obey authority and unquestioningly follow the herd are mindless sheep, and beneath contempt. These people do not just mistrust The System, they hate it with an unholy passion, and eagerly await the day when it all comes crashing down in flames. The cynical apathy of Chaotic Neutral and the paranoid hatred of Chaotic Evil combine to form a strange amalgam of amusement and rage, a sort of laughing desperation. They are nihilists with a grudge, torn between either believing in nothing but themselves, or believing in nothing at all. For them, life is a joke and death is the only truth. This is the dark side of existentialism, the cosmic horror of being truly alone in an uncaring universe and not knowing whether to laugh or scream. These are the cosmic exiles ... lost on dark winds without purpose or direction, forever seeking true north.

Fictional Examples Of This Alignment Combination

Christian Slater's character Jason Dean from the movie Heathers comes to mind. Jason Dean is a cynical teenage misfit that gets tired of being rejected by the system, and decides to arrange a number of "suicides" among the more popular students at school, in order to crumble the stagnant status quo and replace it with chaos ... "Chaos is what killed the dinosaurs," he explains. Sarcastically amused at first, he becomes more and more out of control as the movie progresses, and eventually he decides to blow up the entire school and disguise the crime as a mass suicide. An example of teen-angst nihilism at its darkest and most extreme.

Your Destination in the Afterlife : PANDEMONIUM

According to Gygax, your soul is going to Pandemonium. The word itself means a state of disorder, or a roaring cacophony of noise and confusion. In Milton's Paradise Lost, Pandemonium was the capital of the underworld and the "city of demons." There are probably some demons in Gygax's version of Pandemonium too, as it is located right next to The Abyss (The Abyss is the home plane of demons) although in AD&D Pandemonium is not a city, but an entire plane. Whatever other beings dwell on this plane is a mystery.

On a personal note, this is probably my favorite Outer Plane. It's the scary side of primordial chaos. It's all the stuff in the darkness that never came out into the light with everything else ... ancient, secret things that were left behind and eventually forgotten. Things that are still back there in the dark somewhere, biding their time. Waiting.

In the AD&D universe, the plane of Pandemonium has four levels, and lies between Limbo and The Abyss ... between the primal soup and the void.
