• Greetings, and welcome to my Lucid Dreaming test. First things first.

    What is Lucid Dreaming?

Essentially, a Lucid Dream is a dream in which you are aware of the fact that you are dreaming. You realise that your body is asleep and that each object and character around you is a creation of your mind. Once the dreamer has achieved this state of awareness, they can control their surroundings and the content of their dream to varying extents.

Lucid Dreaming is a scientifically accepted phenomenon which has been proven to exist countless times in sleep laboratories, and whose potentials are only beginning to be explored.

Anyone can learn to have Lucid Dreams, but it will be easier for some than for others. Generally, if you had a high score in MindMist's How Easily Can I Be Hypnotized Test or if you have a strong right brain bias (vincex's Left or Right Brain Test), you’ll have less trouble mastering Lucid Dreaming. There are 24 categories, the "Lucid Dreamer" and the "Master of Dreams" being the highest two. I added links to all of the 24 categories, which you may access at the end of the test.

Note: I will use my personal experience; that means I have not read any literature on this topic and I am far from being a professional.

All images in the test are copyright Michael Whelan, except the ones on the title page, the first and fourth page of the test, which are google'd. :)
